  12. I'm suffering from an attack of PET nostalgia.  The PET was the first machine
  13. I ever computed on, and all my early programming experiments and projects,
  14. as well as most of the PET utilities etc. that I had then, are on a bunch of
  15. 8050-format disks.  I haven't even seen an 8050-compatible disk drive in a 
  16. decade.

  18. I recently posted a message like this one in a local forsale newsgroup, and
  19. what happened?  Someone gave me a PET 4016 and a MSD SD2 disk drive!
  20. Wonderful!  I can run all the stuff that I have on 4040 format disks
  21. again.  This makes me want to access the 8050-format ones all the more.

  23. So, this time with an Ontario-wide distribution, does anyone out there have
  24. an 8050?  Please, please let me use it to copy the stuff off those disks
  25. onto 4040-format ones.
